Notions & Notations of a Novice Cook - “Rick, please stop making eggplant parmesan.”

“Rick, please stop making eggplant parmesan.”

…is the mnemonic I use to remember the general functions of the frontal lobe of the brain (Reasoning, Planning, Speech, Movement, Emotions, Problem Solving).Just thought I’d share it with you guys on this fine morning in the Neurology department. Because, as Stephen B. Goldberg, M.D. wrote;

It is well known that the best memory techniques involve the use of ridiculous associations.

Which brings me to another mnemonic courtesy of Pierce Hawthorne on taxonomy;

“Kevin, please come over for gay sex.”

(Kingdom, phylum, class, order, family, genus, species)

the more ridiculous the better, I say!
