But really though, the term “post-editing” encompasses so much; starting from something asĀ minusculeĀ as cropping to colour changes. I’m all for post-editing, providing that it still retains most aspects of the original photograph. I have no problems with people uploading images hot off the camera, but really, you’ve already had to sift through 300++ images…

…surely there is no harm in taking a little more time adjusting the brightness, contrast and white balance (amongst other things) to achieve better results:


It’s like this: denying photographs a bit of post-editing is like skipping the bacon on top of a chocolate cupcake; it’s all very good without, but it could become incredible if you opt for it (or so I’ve been told).
