carvinghipbones asked: If you're up for another foodwish (I have no idea if you have any sort of "policy" on them :P), then I would love to see you make the Swedish bread-like pastry called "semlor". They are basically fluffy, sweet bread rolls with almond paste and whipped cream in the middle. They sound boring, but trust me, the taste is unlike anything else!
I’m always up for foodwishes! Naw, no policies involved, just make ‘em and I guess wait for when they appear in the dashboard? I looked Semlor (also goes by Semla, I think? Semla [sg]) up and saw the ingredients. It looks like it’s going to taste good! One question though, can I use marzipan in place of the almond paste? It’s just that making almond paste from scratch requires raw egg whites which I’m not too keen of.
Oh, and the current list of foodwishes are as follows:
- Rojak Sotong
- Bowtie Pasta Soup
- Thai Drunken Noodles
- Melonpan
- Nutella Croissant
- Xiaolongbao
- Butter Chicken
- Kaachi Biryani
- Semlor/Semla
