I want your opinions on this. So A is the blog’s current layout - Main picture, TL;DR ramblings, ingredient list followed by process shots alternating with cooking instructions. I personally find that this can get annoying because you’ll have to scroll up and down to read the whole recipe.
…which is why I’m asking if I should change the layout to B, which is almost the same thing, but I’ll write the entire coooking instructions first before a series of the process shots, instead of alternating between the two. Input is appreciated!
***
Although the majority went with A, it wasn’t unanimous (and the B peeps make a compelling argument) so there’s going to be a compromise between the two choices. Layout A stays, but will have a printer-friendly recipe summary added at the end just to, you know, sum things up. Thanks for the feedback you guises!

I like A because I like to see the progression of the food as you reach certain steps. Helps to see how the food should be looking… Thanks and keep up the awesome blog/recipes/food!!! :D

I prefer A. There you see the pics with the instructions. Me likes. It also makes the whole thing look, airier. For lack of a better word. And to much writing in one go, like with B, makes it more like schoolwork. Read first, pictures last.

I like A personally. I prefer to see each step illustrated as the direction is being given so I know exactly what to do. Hope this helps :)

A, it breaks up the photos with some direction as to whats going on. I prefer that than having to scroll to the top to see what I’m looking at.

Hi Piga! I had that same dilemma before too, but I think you should stick with A because it would be hard to look at a sequence of pictures and have to refer back to the steps all over again. :)

Go with B! You can either put all your pictures up top and write your recipe at the bottom or put all your pictures like in Layout B and have the pictures at the end. As long as you don’t breakout the recipe to be inbetween photos. :)

I’d stick with A. But it’s your blog, so go with your gut.

I like option A because that way you can see how the recipe is progressing both in written words and in photo format.

I like option A better. Seems like a better flow for following the directions. :)

I think B might work a bit better, as the instructions wouldn’t be as spread out. You could label each process shot to a certain section in the instructions and when you get to that part in them, make reference to the photo ^^
